Background: As approved during the 10/04/2020 business meeting, Filam shall form a Human Resources (HR) committee made up of the stewardship committee, trustees, and the moderator.
Agenda:
1. Attendance: Marlon, Jennifer, Tess Gante, Randy, Joanne, Ptr. Bong
2. Election Of Officers:
- Chair: Marlon Gante
- Co-Chair: Randy Beltran
- Secretary: Joanne Nocasa
- Inclusion of Medical Benefit
*Pastor's contract for the year 2021 will change from Interim Pastor to Pastor Consultant
*From the contract, last year will scratch out #6. will change Billy Graham to Living Faith Baptist Church, Honolulu.
*Pastor Bong will be compensated $3000 and a monthly mileage of up to $300.
*Will add footnote #13. that Church will designate Pastor's pay as housing allowance.
- Medical Benefit
*The committee discusses increasing Ptr. Bong salary from $3000 to $3500 and from that he will get his own medical insurance. The committee voted and agreed.
4. Call of a Youth Worker.
- Open Application: October 7, 2020
- Due Application: November 1, 2020
- Interviews: November 1-15, 2020
- Special Called Business Meeting Approval of New Youth Worker: December 1, 2020
* Youth intern work contract will include flexible work schedule of 15 hrs per week $750/month and up to $300 dollars for mileage.
Others: Regarding the medical insurance of Ptr. Bong, the committee agreed to research how much insurance it will cost Ptr. Will call another meeting to amend before we present to the body.
